Water Recommissioning

Water Recommissioning is a service that Watershed has been offering for a number of years. In 2007, Watershed completed a water tune-up for a large Toronto landlord. The service entailed 3 days of work in the building, and 2 days of analysis and reporting. The resulting water savings totaled more than $12,000 per year for the owner of this 250 suite building.

One of the most productive measures included in the Water Recommissioining service is the replacement of toilet flappers with original OEM flappers. Our research has shown that old or degraded flappers can cause extreme leakage over time.

Monitoring data supports the claim that Water Recommissioning is probably the best investment any building owner will ever make. Futhermore the water recommissioning service is a great time to teach tenants and maintenance staff about effective water conservation practices.
