Watershed was chosen to complete a full analysis of conservation options and paybacks for a new building for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
The project included costing and payback analysis of heat recapture, water reclamation, vehicle exhaust capture, building insulation, advanced lighting, building controls, paint booth facility analysis, and many other conservation features. The study demonstrated a potential for an 77% reduction in natural gas consumption and a 45% in electricity costs for the new structure.
