Building on many years of experience in building monitoring and analysis, Watershed embarked on the development of EnergyBrain in 2008 (www.energybrain.ca). EnergyBrain is an online energy monitoring service that allows building owners to see their electricity, water and gas consumption in real time. A proprietary set of analytical tools sits on top of the data to alert building management to opportunities for conservation and cost savings. The program is now at the commercial stage and has been successful among multi-residential building owners. The next incarnation called MyEnergyBrain will be an adaptation aimed at single family homes.
