Watershed completed a study for Cityhome including a site review of 50 houses, with blower door tests, combustion tests, and computerized review of each site using an Energy Retrofit program developed by Watershed. In general, we found that energy costs could be reduced by 50% by improvements to the building envelope and mechanical systems, while remaining within the scope of a 7 year payback. The computer program produced a report for each site for the Cityhome database.
